After a nationwide contest, this dramatic photo taken by professional dance photographer, Kermit Dukes, at the 2007 Liberty Swing Championships was selected as USA Swing Net "Action Photo of the Year".
The pose, the passion, the backdrop, and the photo composition earned him this prestigious honor and a $200 Prize Package, courtesy of several Hollywood Movie Studios who furnished souvenir merchandise from their recent dance movies.
