Now Sharon is doing something to provide all dancers access to fellow Champion dancers - a sailing escapade entitled "Cruising with the Stars" that features Superstar dancer, Karina Smirnoff, from "Dancing with the Stars", as well as other notable dance Professionals.
Here's the preview...
USASN: Besides, Karina, you have several other stars on the cruise. SS: We have hand-picked an exceptional group of champion dance instructors to be able to offer everything from ballroom, Latin to Salsa, Hustle and West Coast Swing.Jamie Bayard is a SYTYCD, So You Think You Can Dance, Season 4 finalist, performed on the 1st National tour of Dirty Dancing, and was a US Open Young American division winner with Lacey Schwimmer. Bonnie Marie his partner, has trained with Cheryl Burke and helped coach the kids division and DWTS winners. Enio Cordoba, US Amateur Latin Champion. Terryl Jones is a US Open Cabaret champion and certified in Pilates. Enio and Terryl are Latin and Salsa specialists and really know how to make group classes memorable and fun.
USASN: How many dancers to expect to attend? SS: 100-200, so it’s important to sign up early to guarantee space in the classes you want.
USASN: Give us the details - ship, date, embarkment, ports of call? SS: We’re heading to the Mexican Riviera on Carnival’s fun-filled ship, The Splendor on June 3rd. Party time! Ports of call are beautiful and picturesque - Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta - and every night we’ll have dancing at clubs and even outside on the deck under the stars!
USASN: What special features are included? SS: Your CWTS cruise includes 60 classes, private cocktail parties where you can meet Karina Smirnoff, Q & A, photo ops, and nightly dances. Excursions are available for zip-lining and snorkeling, or you can just relax on the beautiful beaches of Cabo.
*** The last evening will be a fun filled mini-version of DWTS and two tickets will be given away to see the ABC show "Dancing with the Stars"!
USASN: Since you're including Ballroom, Latin, West Coast Swing, Hustle, Salsa, and Club Dancing, it sounds like you'll have a really nice mix of dancers attending. SS: Yes – we want to make this amazing dance cruise experience available to all levels of dancers and to offer all styles of dance. Where else can you learn from this caliber of Stars and Champions, try a new dance and have a vacation where you can take dance classes every day and dance every night!
USASN: For those who have never been on a dance cruise, give them a feel for the experience. SS: We think it will be the ultimate dance cruise not only because of the opportunity to rub shoulders with Karina Smirnoff, but because we are offering so many styles of dance from experts in those dances. I also love that the Carnival Splendor has arranged all our dance venues on the same floor level. It often takes a few days to get acclimated to a ship so this way no one will miss or be late for any of the classes they would like to attend.
USASN: Any last comments? SS: Book early to sign up for the classes and the cabins of your choice! And don’t for get to ask about the cruise "bon voyage party" at one of LA’s hottest ballroom night clubs!
*** Group/studio rates and incentives are available.
