"Step Up 2 the Streets"

Movie sequel to "Step Up" hits theatres on February 14th, 2008

In August of 2006, Channing Tatum was burning up the stage at the Maryland School of the Arts - combining his love of Hip-Hop with his love for a beautiful ballet student.

In 2008, we return to the site with different characters, a different plot and more hot dancing.

Plot
When rebellious dancer Andie (Briana Evigan) lands at the elite Maryland School of the Arts, she finds herself fighting to fit in while also trying to hold onto her old Hip-Hop street dance life. After joining forces with the school’s hottest dancer, Chase (Robert Hoffman), to form a crew of classmate outcasts in order to compete in Baltimore’s underground dance battle, The Streets, she ultimately finds a way to live her dream while building a bridge between her two separate worlds.

Featuring the directorial debut of award-winning up-and-comer John M. Chu, Step Up 2 the Streets reunites much of the production team behind the original film, including Step Up's renowned hip-hop choreographer, Jamal Sims, who is joined this time by choreographers, Hi-Hat (hip-hop’s high diva of dance), and Dave Scott (Stomp the Yard and So You Think You Can Dance).

The film features cutting-edge choreography, a powerful musical score and some of the hottest dancing you'll ever see on film.  A blend of "street" and "studio".

Dramatic, romantic, funny, and absolutely intense!  One of the best dance movies ever made.  Don't miss it.
