WELCOME
Over the last two years, Miami Dance Magic has enchanted many dancers from around the world! From Australia to California, from France and the United Kingdom to Ohio, dancers have come to enjoy the opportunity to visit South Florida.
WIth our 2010 edition of Miami Dance
Magic, expect some changes to refine and enhance your experience at our
event. Even though Miami Dance Magic officially starts Thursday, July
15th, we continue to plan a fabulous week around the competitions and
fun to be had on and off our dance floors. Miami Dance Magic will give you the opportunity to enjoy Miami's fabulous world-famous beaches, shopping, cafes, Art-Deco ambience of South beach, Bayside Marketplace, beautiful weather, exciting night-life and more. For those of you who wish to stay close to the dance action, the beautiful Miami Hyatt Regency has a fitness club, an outdoor pool and deck on the water and so much more to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
Miami Dance Magic promises to make this a "Magical" dance event
experience with our outstanding staff, jam packed schedule and some
exciting surprises. Although new to the event direction scene, Beth and
I have been steady attendees at most of the top events across the nation
and understand that the event goes nowhere without the dancers who
support it. We look forward to welcoming you and your friends at the
Miami Hyatt Regency Hotel in July 2010!

Next, we continue the tradition of the world famous Club Crawl on
Wednesday night (July 14th), where we will once again hit the hottest
clubs of South Beach. Last year, we had such an overwhelming response to
this new feature that we were literally oversold and had to really work
to get everyone to and from the hotels and clubs that night. This year,
we plan to be a little more in front of the process and there will be a
limited number of spots available for this feature of Miami Dance Magic.
Make sure you reserve your spot with your weekend ticket well ahead of
time. Once this is sold out, we will not add anyone else on this little
excursion to the heart of South Beach. 
On Friday, we'll have workshops and open dancing all day long! During
the evening, we'll kick off our competitions with some Strictly Swing
and Just Hustle action. This year, the hustle comps and activities will
be held in our second ballroom and will feature, their own set of judges
and pros. This will allow us to handle a packed schedule with more
flexibility and open dancing throughout the weekend. Awards will
presented before midnight in the main ballroom. That's a promise from
us! 
THEN...we hold our Global Dance TV Tournament! We are especially
excited about the inclusion of Miami Dance Magic as 1 of 16 events in
this unique tour presented by Global Dance TV. A preliminary earlier in
the weekend will determine the field for this knockout contest which
pits two couples against each other for the judges votes to move on to
the next round. When the smoke clears, one couple will win tickets to
the US Open, air vouchers to get there and a chance to compete with some
of the top pros in the world to win the final tournament of the 16 event
tour at the US Open over the Thanksgiving weekend in 2010. 
We have two ballrooms in use for contests and social dancing throughout
the weekend. Our Thursday night early bird dance is included in your
ticket price! Assorted rooms are available for private lessons with our
great staff. In the main ballroom, the dance music will be strongly West
Coast Swing oriented with some of the best DJ's in the nation serving up
the tunes. In our second ballroom, hustle will be the main dance, with
sprinkles of West Coast Swing. When the main ballroom is busy, a
balanced mix of WCS and hustle will be played. For more details,

special room rate will be honored from July 10th through the 20th. Come
early, stay late! Make a vacation out of it, but book your room early
this year as the Miami Hyatt Regency sold out last year.
